AIDA, RDH, OMT, BBPI

Aida Bosnjak is a Registered Dental Hygienist, Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist, Buteyko Breathing Practitioner Instructor, and Director of Operations at LFS with more than 25 years of clinical experience in airway-focused, physiologic dentistry. She graduated from Dental Hygiene School in 2001 with highest honors and received the prestigious Golden Scaler Award. Prior to her dental career, she completed Nursing School in 1989, establishing a strong medical foundation that continues to inform her interdisciplinary approach today.

Since 2008, Aida has pursued extensive advanced education in Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders and airway-centered care through The Breathe Institute (TBI), Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (AOMT), Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), and International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM). She is also certified in Buteyko Breathing Techniques and Dental Sleep Medicine for Registered Dental Hygienists.

For over 25 years, Aida has been an integral part of Lake Forest Smiles (LFS), an airway-centered, physiologic-based dental practice, where she also serves as Director of Operations. In 2015, she established the practice’s Myofunctional Department, creating structured protocols to support patients from newborns to adults. Her clinical focus includes airway health, temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJD), orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMD), physiologic dentistry, and comprehensive interdisciplinary collaboration.

Aida is a national speaker and educator who has lectured for leading organizations including Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics (IAPA), American Academy of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry (AAPMD), and Mommy Dentists in Business (MDIB), as well as local collaborative offices and the LFS Study Club. She serves as a TBI Ambassador and Affiliate and is a graduate of the TBI MYOmasterminds program.

An active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and American Academy of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry, Aida remains committed to integrating evidence-based research, emerging technologies, and innovative therapeutic strategies into patient care.

Above all, Aida is passionate about helping patients achieve optimal health, breathe better, function comfortably, and live pain-free. Her mission is to bridge dentistry, airway medicine, and myofunctional therapy to create lasting, life-changing outcomes. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time in nature, cooking, traveling, and exploring different cultures with her family.

BRENDA

Hi, my name is Brenda. I’ve been with Lake Forest Smiles since 2024, and I’m truly grateful to be part of such a dedicated and welcoming team. One of my favorite parts of the job is greeting our patients as they walk through the door and helping them feel at ease from the moment they arrive.

I grew up in Illinois but spent seven wonderful years living in New Jersey before returning to my roots. I got married in 2019, and in 2024, we welcomed our first son—a joyful milestone in our lives. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. 

DELMI

I’m Delmi, and I have been working in dentistry for over 10 years and I truly enjoy helping patients feel welcome and cared for. As an administrator, I am committed to creating a positive experience for everyone who visits our office, and I’m so happy to have found such an amazing team to work with. Outside of work, I love spending time with my two beautiful children, cooking meals for my family, and enjoying karaoke nights. I also believe laughter is the best medicine—it’s truly my love language!

JILL, RDH

Hi my name is Jill Ostrowski. I have had the pleasure of working at Lake Forest Smiles for over 30 years. 

Over the years, it has been amazing to be a part of an office that allows our team to learn and train to be the best professionals we can to help our patients achieve the best dentistry possible. 

I absolutely love getting to know my patients and have relationships with them. I love being able to share our new technology with our patients so they know they are always getting the best care available. 

LFS is a unique team because we are a true family. We work together and we respect one another. We are here to support one another to help everyone grow. Our patients recognize this in our team at LFS! I look forward to meeting you!!

GAYLE, REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST, OROFACIAL MYOFUNCTIONAL THERAPIST

Hi, my name is Gayle. I graduated from the College of Lake County Hygiene School in 2005 and have been working at Lake Forest Smiles ever since. I am truly blessed to be working with a great team and providing my patients with the highest quality care!

In my free time, I love being with my family, enjoying the outdoors as well as attending sporting and music events. I look forward to seeing you soon!

Shannon

Hi, my name is Shannon. I completed my Bachelor’s degree at the SIU Carbondale Dental Hygiene School in 2013. I have been working for Lake Forest Smiles since 2016. My dental passion is seeing my patients get healthy utilizing the latest techniques and technologies in gum therapy and nutrition. I am excited to be able to give my patients the best care possible. I got married in 2019 and in my free time I love to read, cook, and spend time with my family and friends.

ELIZABETH, RDH, PHDH

Hi, my name is Elizabeth. I have had the pleasure of working at Lake Forest Smiles since 2004. I enjoy being an integral part of restoring and maintaining my patients’ dental health by utilizing the latest technology and my caring touch. I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Marquette University in 2000. Early on in my career, I used my passion for teaching and helped establish CLC’s dental hygiene program. I am a Certified Public Health Dental Hygienist. In the spring of 2022, I am proud to have extended our patient care outside of our office to our elderly community at Lake Forest Place.

I am married and have two younger children. We like going on adventures and traveling. I absolutely love being a mom! I have enjoyed incorporating Children’s Dental Health Presentations into the school systems over the past eight years. In addition, when I have time, I like taking nature walks, gardening, reading, and playing the piano.

KELLY, RDH

Kelly has been a practicing hygienist for 22 years and in the dental field for 31 years. At 17 years old, in her first dental office, it was instantly apparent to her that the dental field was where her heart was at. Serving patients, caring for families, and providing high quality care is something she takes great pride in. She has been an active member of her professional organizations and is always looking for new technology, products and innovative ways to serve her patients. It is her great pleasure to join the team at Lake Forest Smiles and provide care to those in need at Lake Forest Place, a skilled nursing home for patients who are unable to travel into a traditional dental setting.

My name is Angie. I graduated from College of Lake County in 2016 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. I joined Lake Forest Smiles in 2023. I am fortunate to have found such an amazing team to be part of. I enjoy learning and growing to be able to give my patients the best care. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have two beautiful kids, and we enjoy being outdoors and traveling. I look forward to getting to know each and every one of my patients and being part of your smile journey.
