A self-proclaimed dental dork, Julia loves teeth and enjoys making her patients feel confident with a beautiful and healthy smile. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband Bryan and three daughters: Alyssa, Michelle and Daniella as well as their dogs.
I graduated from College of Lake County Dental Hygiene School in 2010. Prior to that I was a dental assistant for seven years, starting as a Red Cross volunteer. It has been a journey, and I love what I do. My stepdad was in the military, so I grew up traveling a bit. In my spare time, I like to travel and spend time with my husband and two grown children. I look forward to meeting you.

Hi, my name is Taylor, and I’m one of Dr. Campbell and Dr. Schmidt’s Dental Assistants. I’m absolutely lucky and grateful that I have such an amazing team for guidance and support. I have been in the dental field for two, going on three months now. I became interested because my mother has been dental assisting since before I can remember! Now, being here at Lake Forest Smiles, I know that I want to further my career in the dental field. I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and moved to this area when I was a teenager in high school. My boyfriend and I have a daughter, Farrah, and she’s one year old. She is an amazing baby that brings light to the darkest room with the slightest bit of effort. I love to spend time with them when I’m not in the office and be surrounded by loved ones. I’m very excited to be here helping the doctors give our patients healthy smiles & confidence!
Hi, my name is Cassie. I have been working as an assistant with Drs. Campbell and Schmidt since 2004. I love working where my co-workers are my family. I feel lucky to get to continue learning new things and using new technology to provide better care for our patients.
I live in Wisconsin, but still root for the Bears. In my free time, I enjoy being with my husband and daughter, exploring the outdoors and going to concerts. I look forward to seeing you soon!!
I grew up in the Lake County area. After high school, I went immediately into the work world and got my first job as a surgical assistant for a periodontist. I have always had a passion for surgery and caring for people. It was at this time that I knew I found my career.
In 1992, I came to work for Dr. Campbell the first time and became his office manager. Dr. Schmidt had been with us for about one year when I left due to a career change into the software and computer side of dentistry. I spent the next 13 years training dental professionals how to use dental software.
When my husband and I moved to Sycamore, I returned to my passion as a surgical assistant for a dental implant practice. I worked my way to become their treatment coordinator and implant coordinator. When my husband transferred back to Lake County, I re-joined (20 years later) the team at Lake Forest Smiles. It still feels like home and I am lucky enough to work with my sister, Cassie, and my daughter Rachel.
In my free time, my heart is with my family. There is nothing better than spending time with our five adult children, their spouses, our grandkids, my sister and her family, and our grandpups! I love weight training and have recently joined the Peloton team. I look forward to meeting you.
